About the Grant
Medjaden has been growing rapidly over the past decade thanks to the trust and support of our clients. To show our appreciation to our clients and to help young researchers publish their work, Medjaden established the Article Writing & Publication Grants for Young Scientists in 2010. This grant opportunity is designed to encourage and support students (undergraduates and graduate students) and young scientists in Mainland China in publishing top-quality biomedical papers in SCI journals. As of December 2024, the Medjaden Article Writing & Publication Grants for Young Scientists had supported 421 authors, with a funding total of RMB792155.05.
Criteria for Applicants
1. The applicant must have a complete manuscript in English that is deemed to contain novel ideas and likely to be published upon assessment by Medjaden editors.
2. The applicant must be the first author and a graduate student, aged 35 years or younger, and have never received any support from Medjaden.
3. The first author and the corresponding author must have a financial hardship in making full payment for the editing service fee.
4. The maximum amount of the Grant is equivalent to the full amount of the standard service fee and submission service fee.

Application Procedures
1. The applicant and corresponding author (if the applicant is not the corresponding author) must complete and sign the application form.
2. The application form must be signed by the head of the applicant’s research department or the director of the department, and stamped with the official seal of the research department.
3. Electronic versions of the required documents must be submitted, including the application form, assessment report of the manuscript for which the grant will be used, and a copy of proof of age (such as ID card, student card, or work permit).
4. The electronic version of the application form and scanned copies of related documents should be sent to medjadenacademic@gmail.com. If approved, the applicant must provide a hard copy of each document.
